BULWARK CTE II is two components flexible Epoxy modified with refined tar pitch coating system the hybrid technology along with combination of epoxy with tar gives excellent adhesion, chemical resistance and heavy duty water resistance. , It cures by sunlight and good air circulation and will give a tough flexible membrane. BULWARK CTE II has excellent bonding strength with concrete, water resistance, with crack bridging properties this can be applied on any area wherever require long lasting, heavy duty , high water resistant coating along with chemical resistance .
AREA OF APPLICATION:
- On any Concrete slab i.e. sunken slab, Roof slab, chemical tank, Sewage tanks &Plants
- Can be applied on swimming pool.
- Wherever need heavy duty permanent water proofing with chemical resistance.
- If Potable water tank better use “ Bulwark Seal Cote 3 ( Food Grade)
FEATURES:
- Will Provide Tough, Flexible water proof membrane.
- Can be applied in uniform thickness to horizontal and vertical surfaces.
- Develops excellent bond to most building materials.
- BULWARK CTE II is highly durable in continuous wet condition.
METHOD OF APPLICATION IN WATER PROOFING
SURFACE PREPARATION:
- Prior to application of BULWARK CTE II the surface must be prepared as mentioned below to avoid failure and to achieve maximum beneficial properties.
- When placing “BULWARK CTE” coating, water should be removed so that surface is must be dry.
- In sunken corner area must to be packed with Bulwark cement Mortar prior to this application.
- All concrete surfaces shall be thoroughly scrubbed and cleaned before applying “Bulwark CTE”
APPLICATION:
- BULWARK CTE II must be mixed with in the ratio of 9:1 (PART A: PART B)
- The mix has to be stirred thoroughly until smooth homogeneous slurry is obtained. Wait for 1-3 minutes to release entrapped air bubbles.
- Two are recommended one more coat can be done to achieve desired thickness.
- First coat should be allowed to air dry for 3-4 hours prior to apply subsequent coat.
PRECAUTIONS:
- BULWARK CTE II system must be applied with temperature above 5⁰ C and below 40⁰ C.
- Pour out Part B slowly on Part A and use slow speed stirrer to mix thoroughly.
- Use Bulwark CTE-I for more adhesion and more chemicals resistance.
STORAGE:
- Store in dry cool place in the temperature range from 5⁰C to 30⁰C in sealed condition.
- Do not allow to freeze. Keep away from direct sunlight.
PACKAGING:
- 10Kg Pack (Part A 9Kg +Part B 1Kg )
