BULWARK PREMIUM SBR consists of 52 % of modified styrene Butadiene copolymer which can be added with any cement/Mortar and can be applied on water tank, sunken portion and also can be used as a effective base coat /Primer for any water proofing coating system. BULWARK PREMIUM SBR is composed of specially developed styrene butadiene polymers with properly selected additives It cures by sunlight and good air circulation and will give a tough flexible thin membrane. BULWARK PREMIUM SBR has excellent flexibility and bonding with concrete, breathing properties, water resistance, crack bridging properties, weathering durability. Due to this low molecular weight this can be easily penetrated in to any concrete surface then will give immense bonding strength and superior water proof effect.

METHOD OF APPLICATION IN WATER PROOFING :
SURFACE PREPARATION:
- Prior to application of BULWARK PREMIUM SBR the surface must be prepared as mentioned below to avoid failure and to achieve maximum beneficial properties.
- When placing BULWARK PREMIUM SBR coating, water should be removed so that surface is only damp. In no case there should be standing water.
- The surface shall be cleaned to remove all dust, foreign matters, loose materials or any deposits of contamination which could affect the bond between the surface and the BULWARK PREMIUM SBR coating.
- New flat surface like sub-base concrete shall be made reasonably smooth so as not to impede the application of BULWARK PREMIUM SBR coating and to avoid sharp projections.
- All concrete surfaces shall be thoroughly pre-wetted prior to the application of BULWARK PREMIUM SBR coating by pouring water on flat surface or by spraying water on vertical/inclined surfaces.
APPLICATION:
- BULWARK PREMIUM SBR can be mixed with neat fresh opc/ppc cement in the ratio of 1:1.5:3 (BSBR: WATER: CEMENT) by weight. When you need low cost primer/base coat you can mix cement in the ratio of 1:2:3 (BSBR: WATER: CEMENT) by weight.
- The mix has to be stirred thoroughly until smooth homogeneous slurry is obtained. Wait for 1-2 minutes to release entrapped air bubbles.
- Any lump found in the mix should be removed or mixed thoroughly. The mix has to be applied by brush specially made spray.
- Two are recommended one more coat can be done to achieve desired thickness.
- First coat should be allowed to air dry for 3-4 hours prior to apply subsequent coat.
PRECAUTIONS:
- BULWARK PREMIUM SBRsystem must be applied with temperature above 5⁰
STORAGE:
- Store in dry cool place in the temperature range from 5⁰C to 30⁰C in sealed condition.
- Do not allow to freeze. Keep away from direct sunlight.
