Bulwark Poly 600

BULWARK POLY 600 is two component Polyurea coating which consists of specially developed hybrid polymers and properly selected components. Unlike traditional Polyurea bulwark Poly 600 is hybrid Polyurea which is water based meanwhile this will possess all the properties of one traditional Polyurea possess it cures by natural air, sunlight and gives Tough heavy duty rough mate finish membrane with extreme resistance for water and UV rays hence this can be applied as High end waterproofing system on concrete and can be covered with screed this also can be applied on Open Terrace without protective screed.

BULWARK Poly 600 has excellent bonding strength hence instead replacing the GI sheets this can be used as a Anti corrosion cum expandable waterproofing coating on GI sheets.

Due to its heavy tensile strength and excellent compatibility with cement mortar in order to save time and energy this can be used in the process of repairing an old terrace without removing weathering course and can be applied even on the PCC before laying new tiles on it.

AREA OF APPLICATION:

  • Wherever water proofing need with high durability
  • Heavy Duty waterproofing on weak cement floor
  • Open Terrace
  • Wherever need heavy duty waterproofing then polyurethane coating
  • On Metal Roof
  • On PCC without removing weathering course

FEATURES:

  • Will Provide both Tough, Heavy Duty flexible water proof membrane.
  • Allows trapped vapor to escape thus preventing peeling and blistering.
  • Develops excellent bond to most building materials.
  • BULWARK POLY 600 is non-flammable and does not give off toxic gases.
  • BULWARK POLY 600 is not harmful to the health of workman.

METHOD OF APPLICATION IN WATER PROOFING

SURFACE PREPARATION:

  • Prior to application of BULWARK Poly 600 the surface must be prepared as mentioned below to avoid failure and to achieve maximum beneficial properties.
  • When placing BULWARK Poly 600 coating, water should be removed.
  • The surface shall be cleaned to remove all dust, foreign matters, loose materials or any deposits of contamination which could affect the bonding.

APPLICATION:

  • After surface preparation like Removing loose particles and crack Treatment BULWARK POLY 600 must be applied on the Top of suitable primer (SEAL COTE 3 OR BULWARK LEAK BOND II)
  • Mixing Ratio: 10 Part A: 2 Part B strictly no water can be added.
  • Two coats are recommended one more coat can be done to achieve desired thickness.
  • First coat should be allowed to air dry for 2-3 hours prior to apply subsequent coat.
  • If pond test to be done then can be done only after 72 hrs from the time of application.

PRECAUTIONS:

  • BULWARK POLY 600 system must be applied at temperature above 10⁰ C and below 40⁰ C.
  • Primer must be as per recommendation orelse failure may occur.
  • Must allow 5-6hrs interval between primer and Bulwark Poly 600.
  • Must allow 2-3hrs interval between subsequent coat to avoid failure.
  • Should not be diluted can use simple Graco Single Component Electric Airless Spray Machine.
  • Suitable Tip must be selected to achieve 700-900 microns of thickness (Wet film)
  • Recommended thickness not less than 700-900microns (Wet film)
  • Can be even applied by paint brush but ensure achieved 700-900 microns (wet film thickness)
  • If apply on fiber mesh must ensure the fiber mesh is not visible and fully merged with POLY 600.
  • Soft /Hard Settling and Separation will be there needless to get panic just mix well and use.

STORAGE:

  • Store in dry cool place in the temperature range from 5⁰C to 30⁰C in sealed condition.
  • Do not allow to freeze. Keep away from direct sunlight.
